This course is suitable for anyone working at any level in any industry who require a foundation in the essentials of safety and health.
Course Content:
This IOSH Working Safely course will cover the following topics:
- An introduction of occupational safety and health
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
The course will also provide the knowledge and tools required to work safely.
Each module will be supported clear examples and recognisable scenarios, summarised to reinforce key points.
Outcomes:
Following the course delegates will be able to; assess and control risks and hazards, understand own responsibilities for safety and health, have the ability to investigate incidents, and be able to measure own performance.
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Working Safely certificate which is valid for 3 years.
Delegate Preparation:
There is no requirement for delegates to have any previous knowledge of Health & Safety, therefore, ideal for beginners.
