Building an Effective Team

Objectives

Communication and collaboration are essential in building positive workplace behaviour. This course allows delegates to understand how to get the best from their teams by identifying worker’s individual skills and abilities and managing them to best effect. Managers will be able to lead by example; recognise the strengths within their team; and promote the best performance improving attainment of business goals.

This course is designed to provide delegates with the skills required to build a strong team using a mixture of theory and practical application.

Course content

This is a short course on how to manage and lead a team more effectively using new skills and techniques. The session will be interactive and engaging using a number of team building exercises and case studies.

Outcomes

Delegates will recognise that the success of the team is directly related to individual achievement and the importance of placing workers where they will achieve. Managers and supervisors will understand how to appreciate worker’s differences and employ them for maximum effectiveness and best results.
